The international preliminary examination of the application by the European Patent Office has shown the following results: 
All claims possess novelty and industrial applicability
The claims 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 11 - 16 involve an inventive step.
1. Pfeil Use of ______**__________, ______________ salt(s), their derivatives and/or de­composition products for the treatment of affections of the skin and of the mucous membrane as well as organs and tissues with the exception of the treatment of retrovirus (HIV) affections, and the disinfection.
2. Pfeil Use in accordance with claim 1, characterised in that the affections affect the skin and the mucous membranes.
3. Pfeil Use in accordance with claim 2, characterised in that the affections would or could lead to efflorescences.
4. Pfeil Use in accordance with one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the affects and/or efflorescences may be caused by micro-organisms or accompanied by micro-organisms.
5. Pfeil Use in accordance with one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that said affects represent parasitic affections, in particular scabies, pediculosis or creeping eruption.
6. Pfeil Use in accordance with at least one of the above claims, characterised in that the affections concern:

the eye, in particular the eyelid, conjunctiva or cornea of the eye;
the ear, in particular the outer ear;

the anus;
the nail, in particular the nail bed, the perionychium and the nail groove as well as the nail-root;
the hair, in particular the hair follicles and the sebaceous glands; and
hands and feet, in particular finger and toe interstices.
7. Pfeil Use in accordance with at least one of the above claims, characterised in that the __________, ___________ salts, their derivatives and/or decomposition products are present in the employed base in an amount of approximately 0.1 to 20 % by weight, preferably approximately 5 to 15 % by weight, in particular approximately 8 to 12 % by weight.
8. Pfeil Use in accordance with at least one of the above claims, characterised in that a __________ salt, in particular ____________, is employed.
9. Pfeil Use in accordance with at least one of the above claims, characterised in that the base is a liquid, half-solid or solid aqueous or non-aqueous galenic preparation.
10. Pfeil Use in accordance with claim 9, characterised in that the base represents an ointment, a gel, a cream, a paste, a suppository such as a vaginal suppository, a plaster, a tablet such as an effervescent tablet or a vaginal tablet, or a capsule, a pin, a powder, a solution, an aerosol, a two-component system or a suspension, such as a shake-mixture/dry-suspension.
11. Pfeil Use in accordance with claim 9 or 10, characterised in that the base is a dosing aerosol or a dosing solution.
12. Pfeil Use in accordance with claim 9 or 10, characterised in that the base is a bathing additive.
13. Pfeil Use in accordance with claim 9 or 10, characterised in that the ointment is an oil-in-water or a water-in-oil emulsion ointment.
14. Pfeil Use according to at least one of the above claims, characterised in that the base is a cortisone-containing preparation which comprises the _____________, ____________ salt(s), their derivatives and/or decomposition products in an amount of approxi­mately 0.1 to 20 % by weight.
15. Pfeil Use in accordance with claim 9 or 10, characterised in that the base is a gel in which the _______________, _____________ salt(s), their derivatives and/or their decomposition products are present in an amount of approximately 0.1 to 5 % by weight, in particular approximately 0.1 to 2 % by weight.
16. Pfeil Use in accordance with claim 9 or 10, characterised in that the bathing additive is used in the form of a powder or a bathing salt tablet or an effervescent tablet, which is used in a concentration of approximately 0.1 to 1 % by weight in water.
